Inspired by the angular architecture and dark moods of Ridley Scott’s 1982 masterpiece Blade Runner, the Fold Table Lamp deploys folded aluminium fins to reflect an ambient glow forward and back.

Ben-tovim Design

Ben-Tovim Design was founded by Jonathan Ben-Tovim in 2011 as an industrial design consultancy with an in-house range of lighting and furniture.

Jonathan Ben-Tovim was born in Zimbabwe, grew up and studied industrial design in Adelaide and then moved to Holland to complete a masters at the renowned Design Academy Eindhoven. This was followed by several years of working as a designer in London, until 2010 when Jonathan finally settled in Melbourne, Australia.

Each Ben-Tovim design is assembled by hand in their Melbourne studio. B-TD looks to source as many parts and materials from local suppliers as possible.The B-TD Studio loves to explore new technologies such as 3D printing, however the ultimate ambition is to always create timeless objects worth holding on to.
